A one-of-a-kind piece created using vintage sheet music and drawn by hand with Cray-Pas oil pastels. Inspired by the energy and emotion of “Fire” by Gino Parks, this work captures a sense of movement and intensity through color and form.

This work transforms a found musical artifact into a visual interpretation—bridging sound and image. The aged paper, once meant to be played, now serves as the foundation for a new expression, carrying its history into a different medium.

This piece explores themes of energy, memory, and transformation—where music becomes visual and discarded materials are given new life. Referencing “Fire” by Gino Parks, the work channels rhythm, heat, and emotional resonance through both material and subject.

Hand-drawn and layered directly onto the vintage sheet music, the texture of the paper interacts with the richness of the oil pastels. The imperfections, tonal variations, and wear of the original material remain visible, adding depth and authenticity that cannot be replicated.
